Nahida, the Fatal Feminist, posts today about how she polices her own modesty by correctly interpreting the Qur’an:
The Prophet, peace be upon him, responded, “God is beautiful and loves beauty. Arrogance is rejecting truth and looking down on people.”
The Qur’an and the Bible obviously have different things to say about this issue, but the principles Nahida espouses translate well for Christians. I love her bold and playful response to criticism of her modesty.
