This article on the dialogue between the Church and science accomplishes the incredible feat of never referencing C.S. Lewis, but it makes one of his arguments quite well:
I’m not interested in arguing here about the age of the earth, and I am not really interested in arguing about that with a naturalist. What we are really arguing about is whether or not there are miracles. It is as absurd to the naturalist for me to claim that Jesus rose from the dead after three days as it is for me to claim that the earth is young.
